From the Pastor’s Desk: The Apostle Paul once stated: “Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not? If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.” (2 Corinthians 11:24‑31)

The reason this is being presented here for your thoughtful consideration, is because many of you are highly perplexed and distressed over current events which seem to go against your faith and you are feeling the strain of the hour that is upon us. The recent LA shooting tragedy certainly has and will continue to try the faith of the saints. In fact, I’m going to be addressing this issue shortly. But the question for all of us is, do we understand that there will be perilous times that we will have to go through as Christians, and do we further understand that we can either view trials and tests against our faith as a positive event, or a negtive event. If we understand that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28) We can then understand how the Apostle Paul could say, “I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.”

Paul could see beyond the present and immediate dangers he faced, into the greater purposes of Jesus Christ. As an example, if you are presently bieng unfairly treated by certian people, even Christian brethren, perhaps they are out to destroy your reputation, or they are doing hurtful things to you and your family, there is a stron possibility that the Holy Spirit just might be using adversarial conditions tomove you into a higher spiritual level, or a better place in your Christian Walk. A place that you would not seek out or venture into before this present controversy because your previous state had become your security blanket, and that blanket was hindering your spiritual growth. Some people think they always know what’s best for them, but in reality, only He who knows the future knows what’s best for us, and “He,” is Jesus Christ. He is the author and finisher of our faith, and He can turn our darkness into noon day bright. Therefore, don’t let your trials and tribulations keep you from understanding that these conditions just might be form Divine intervention for a greater good.

Let Me Make Something Clear: There’s a very interesting Bible passage that fits our world today and the many strange events which are transpiring. “So I returned, and considered all the oppresisons that are don under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the sie of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.” (Ecclesiastes 4:1) Is that your story? Is that how you see things today? Do you feel as though you have no Comforter?

The message and vision presented by many Christians, New Agers, Art Bell groupies and so forth, seems to be that of impending doom, dread and disaster. Of course, due to the fact that nationally, end-time Israel is living sinfully, it is not surprising for Christians to expect the wrath of Yahweh to come upon a sinful nation, but couple that with the thought of having no Comforter in the midst of national oppression. In fact, the verse closes with rather haunting words, “BUT THEY HAD NO COMFORTER.” Well, I’m here to tell you that as Christians, we most certianly do have a Comforter, and Christ has not abandoned that position. Christ said in Hebrews 13:5: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee,” and then in verse 8 we are told: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever.” Remember, those aren’t just mere words to any Tom, Dick and Harry. Those are words to those who love Him, and obey His Laws, Statutes, Judgments and Commandments. Therefore, it is imperative to understand that Christ has not forsaken us, and if there has been any abandoning going on, it certainly has not been on His part but our part.

Granted, the adversary will say and do anything to cause us to abandon our faith, but if we know the Truth, we cannot be deterred. This is the greatest obstacle our adversaires can’t seem to overcome in their quests to destroy us. True, we have been our own worst enemy since we have violated God’s Laws and admonition to live one another, and not be hateful, vindictive, name allers, or prideful. (Ephesians 4:29-32; 1 Corinthians 11:33; Titus 3:2-4; Psalm 36:2, Ephesians 2:2-7; Colosians 3:7-10) And Christianity and the Body of christ has suffered because of inappropriate behavior. However, the Truth within God’s people, the Sword of God’s Word, is a very powerful mind and heart controlling factor. Therefore, I am not in fear that maybe the antichrists will come up with some fantastic power play to eradicte the Yahweh/Christ ordained Israel Covenant, Promises, or its proper role in God’s Plan of the Ages! Whether the Jews, Morris Dees, Bill Clinton, Janet Reno like it or not, the Israel Truth will stand and the destiny of the Sons of Isaac will be fulfilled.

A Sad Event: That being said, we need to discuss the latest tragedy concerning the shooting at the Jewish community center in Los Angeles. Certian points need to be discussed such as Who benefitted from the shooting, and where do we stand on the action taken by Buford Furrow?

I remember watching the news, and hearing about some crazed gunman bursting into a Jewish community center and spraying the lobby with bullets, wounding five people, including three little boys. Later that day, it was reported that a postal worker was also murered. My first thoughts were “My God, what is this world coming to, what idiot would do such a thing?” my second thought was, “the Jewish controlled media and gun control fanatics are going to milk this tragedy for every thing they can get.” Turns out, I was right!

As we all know by now, the gunman was Buford Furrow, a former security guard at Aryan Nations. He was also married to Debbie Mathews, former wife of the late Bob Mathews. It also turned out that Buford Furrow twice attended America’s Promise Miistries some years bace. Therefore, I was not at all surprised when we were accosted by a barrage of media (prostitutes -WM) personalities for three days, as well as a visit from the FBI.
